The Board of AUCEA invite you to contribute to our
TAME* Workshop – (*Tracking and Measuring Engagement)
By way of background …
Over the past year the AUCEA Board has meet with University Member representatives from Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and the ACT and one of the common themes to emerge from those meetings was the need to track and measure engagement.
In response to this the AUCEA Board commissioned a research study to review the literature about current tracking and measurement systems.
This report will inform the TAME Workshop.
When: Friday 14 October 2011 from 10am-3pm
Where: Room A204, Southern Cross University, Beachside Campus – Gold Coast Airport
Some questions to consider …
The AUCEA Board would really appreciate it if workshop attendees would consider the following questions prior to the workshop:
- Is Engagement a key strategic, academic or operational feature of your university?
- What Engagement activities would you like to track and measure?
- Why do you need to track and measure these Engagement activities?
- Has your university developed a TAME-like data-tool?
- Is your university considering developing a TAME-like data-tool?
- If AUCEA were to develop a TAME data-tool would your university be interested in utilising it?
Your input at this exploratory workshop is vital, as it assist the Board’s decision-making in relation to the development of the TAME data-tool.
